Orlando Projects The Villages Regional Hospital, in affiliation
with Leesburg Regional Medical Center, is an adult acute care facility
serving a tri-county area—Lake, Sumter and south Marion counties. The hospital
provides comprehensive medical services with 198 medical and surgical beds,
a six-bed intensive care unit, state-of-the-art surgical suites, a radiology
department featuring filmless computer imaging, pharmacy, clinical laboratory
and a full service emergency department.
Jacksonville Sound & Communications Inc. has
been involved in this facility since groundbreaking in November 2000 providing
the Dukane/GE ProCare 6000 Nurse Patient Communication Systems as well
as a Hospital wide Public Address System. Also provided are various other
intercom and low voltage systems.
